Mike's massive stroke November 2021 took away his ability to speak & move his right side, BUT he's a miracle and being worked on from the inside out by our great God. His left side is incredibly strong as he has been assisted with exercises at home and in PT and OT through various therapists for the last 18 months. Most recently the owners of https://intensebandfitness.com/ came to visit Mike and were impressed by Mike relentless drive to "use what he has" along with his amazing positive attitude toward recovery. Rodney Alford has a passion for helping others, and he jumped right into action planning how to help Mike. Before we knew it, Rodney had designed a ramp for Mike's wheelchair, shipped it to our home, and provided the ramp and his fitness bands as gifts to Mike. Mike now can work out in our garage or inside our home with minimal assistance from me. What a blessing for him and for me! Mike loves his exercises, he feels independent and stronger, he is building his core, his upper body, and now he's able to work out his back muscles by using various bands and exercises demonstrated by Rodney through videos he made for Mike. The Intense Bands Bundled Grips is a great all in one set! I used this bundle during the holidays when traveling, since I was unable to make it to the gym.
